Weedy Sea Dragon with eggs

$135.00$420.00

How are the colours on this guy?! Yes, it’s a male, we know because he’s pregnant! Like their seahorse cousins, it is the males who nuture the eggs and give birth when the eggs mature. You can see the eggs, they’re the bright pink blobs all along the root of his tail. Endemic to Australia’s Southern coastline, the Weedy Seadragon are found no where else in the world. This image appeared in the 2017 documentary “Chasing Coral”
Kurnell, Sydney- Australia.
